A splash of colour today with this wonderful Poppy stamp from the Creative Expressions Festive Floral stamp plate and it is one of my samples from last week’s Create and Craft show, so apologies for those who recognise it, but it was one of favourites!
I was lucky as the old encyclopaedia I use for these types of projects still had the ‘Flowers’ page so I had to use it of course! The poppy is stamped directly onto the page and coloured with the Cosmic Shimmer Watercolours, Lava red, Yellow Sun and Emerald Gold and I love how you can just see the texture through the pigment and mica but the colour still pops out at you.
The page is layered up on Khadi paper and stitched before sticking onto the Kraft card blank.
Have a popping Thursday!
