Getting That Up-To-The-Minute Bright Colours Look

Ok so I have a new pet obsession – bright and beautiful, jump of the page, colours. You know the fluorescent, glowing-look colours? I’m sure you have seen a lot of them around in the clothes shops and of course Hero Arts have released their Neon range of ink pads that are super pop colours?

Well, I just love the way these bright colours look but the ink pads have yet to hit these shores and I am too impatient to wait so had to have a go at my own.

Do you want to know how? Then read on…

So this is a make for the Fiskarettes, it is made up in layers with some stamping, cutting, tearing and paint and if you want more details keep your eye on the Fiskarettes blog.

The stamps used are the Fiskars Clear Stamps – Lower, Uppercase and Numbers set and the Fiskars Clear Stamps – Country Flowers stamp set.

The aperture was cut with Fiskars Everywhere Window Punch – Frame. and the whole tag was cut with the Fiskars Bypass Guillotine 22 cm – A5 and scissors.

But you are still wondering about the bright pink aren’t you? Well I used a good old fashioned highlighter pen on my stamp and on some white thread too.

I have no idea if the ink is suitable for stamps but it seemed to stamp nice and cleanly and clean off the stamp easily enough so why not?!

Oh I do love a bit of stationery!

Right, catch you all in the stationery cupboard later.

So I'm not the only one regularly Googling 'Neon ink UK' on a weekly basis then?

Your solution is genius. And your tag so lovely!

Now where are my highlighter pens …

The humble highlighter hey! mmmm who would of thought it? Your tag is super ♥ the way the neon shines through the aperture.

    Ooooo, how pretty.

I don't think we give enough consideration to our office stationery supplies when it comes to crafting.
