Grungy Altered Tags

Hi Guys, I’ve got a make for you today – Hurray! It is a recycled make for The Altered Element. I have a number of these cute little tags I got free from magazines, I’ve been meaning to alter them for a while.

Turning them from cute to grungy 🙂

I started by covering the tags with a layer of gesso then painted it with a layer of Eco Green Crafts Acrylic paints. I then stamped the tags using stamps from the Creative Expressions Vintage Games and Vintage Aviation kits with Archival ink. I then used Tim Holtz Distress Inks to distress the edges and a layer of Crackle paint over the top. The final finishing touch was to edge the tag with a leafing pen and add some alcohol ink coloured wire.

Hope you are all having a fun week.
