Quixotic Paperie Challenge Blog Challenge No. 23

Quixotic Paperie Challenge day and this week Simonne has chosen the theme:

How Distressing!

So get your distressing tools and/or your inks and go for it!

I’ve used The Greeting Farm Ebony for this make, I think she is fabulous! She is matched with some hand stitching, lace and of course some distressed edges!

There are two types of lace on this card, both available from Quixotic Paperie, Prima lace and the 1.5″ lace. I hand coloured the lace with my shimmerz paints and Spritz using several different colours to give a variegated look rather than a solid colour look.

I’ve used Cosmo Cricket Early bird papers (which are on back order at Quixotic Paperie)

Ebony is coloured with my Copic markers and I’ve used a pearl bead and a bead cap for the centre of my lace flower.

Thanks for dropping by.

Can’t wait to see your distressed makes.

Kim
