Quixotic Paperie Challenge Blog Challenge No. 19

Hey Guys, have you seen this week’s challenge over at Quixotic Paperie? Oh boy have we got a fun one for you this week. This week it is a:

CASE One Of The QP DT

The idea is that you CASE a card (i.e. use one of the DT Member’s design and layout) or do ‘In The Style Of…’ one of the DT members. Don’t forget to link to the card or person you are CASEing.

Well here is my CASEd card and I’ve CASEd this card from the fabulous Rowena Barnard. I’ve used the My Mind’s Eye Lil Robot papers and diecuts and Ro’s gorgeous design but I’ve also done a bit in the style of Ro with inking the papers and the dark stitching 🙂

The ickle robot and the sentiment is a die cut from the kit and they are just so fab, I love them to bits!

I’ve used my Cuttlebug and embossing folders to add some texture to the image background and to a strip of card covered with kitchen foil. The chipboard cogs were painted with acrylic paint and inked with greys and silvers.

Hope you are having a lovely long weekend

If you have a few moments you might want to check out the Clearance Section in Quixotic Paperie there are lots of fab bargains to be had! Perfect Easter Treat!

Kim
